Storage S04_Donauried.
The client intends the turnkey construction of an industrial battery energy storage system (BESS) with the following target parameters:
• Rated power (charge/discharge): 10 MW
• Usable capacity: 20 MWh (alternatively 40 MWh – 4h system)
• Round-trip efficiency (RTE): ≥ 90 % (preferably 95%)
• Battery technology: Lithium-ion (LFP preferred) - alternatively partly sodium
• Lifetime: ≥ 15 years / ≥ 10,950 cycles at 2 cycles/day
• SOH requirement: ≥ 65 % after 15 years
• Application area: Multimarket (frequency control reserve, intraday, peak shaving, FCR/aFRR, arbitrage, etc.), contingency reserve
• Grid connection: 20 kV medium voltage

The contractor shall assume planning, delivery, construction, assembly, commissioning, documentation, and technical operation including defined guarantees.
