According to § 16 of the Climate Protection Act of Baden-Württemberg (KlimaG BW), the achievement of climate protection targets for Baden-Württemberg, as well as the sector goals and the implementation of measures according to the Climate Action Register and the strategy for adapting to the unavoidable consequences of climate change, must be monitored. The subject of this contract includes the preparation of the report on the projections of greenhouse gas emissions and their impact on the achievement of climate protection targets for Baden-Württemberg and the sector goals as part c of the Climate Protection and Projection Report 2027. If the targets enshrined in the KlimaG BW are not met, a preliminary cause analysis should also be conducted, and perspectives for closing the gap should be identified. This also includes considering the impacts and interactions of federal and European Union climate protection measures, as well as incorporating important aspects of a producer-related assessment.
