Description:
The project focuses on supplying equipment and installation for enhancing the intelligent transport systems infrastructure in Gheorgheni, including traffic signals, smart pedestrian crossings, and video surveillance systems.

The procurement aims to supply equipment, installation, and works for the investment titled 'ENSURING THE ITS INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF GHEORGHENI', a project funded under the NATIONAL RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE PLAN, COMPONENT C10 - LOCAL FUND, Investment I.1.2 - Ensuring infrastructure for green transport - ITS/other ICT infrastructures (intelligent urban/local management systems). The traffic signal system will include one signal point and 5 smart pedestrian crossings. The proposed intersection to be included in the Traffic Management and Video Surveillance System is as follows: Intersection: Kossuth Lajos Street - Gheorghe Doja Street - Pompierilor Street. The traffic signal works consist of: • Execution of electrical ducting in the roadway, sidewalk, and green space; • Connections between the traffic signal poles and the control unit are made through an underground electrical duct. • This duct was created by open trenching in the sidewalk. For the main duct routes, 2 heavy PVC pipes d=110mm were used, and 3 pipes were used for the road crossings, with connections to the poles executed with 1 heavy PVC pipe d=63mm. • Construction of new draw boxes: In the crossing points of the roadway and at the change of direction of the duct route, ducts were provided with draw boxes, made of cement concrete. • Connection cables for traffic signals: The electric cables linking traffic signals and the traffic control unit are of the Csyy type. • Installation of traffic signals using LED technology, which have better visibility, lower maintenance costs, and a much longer lifespan compared to conventional incandescent bulb signals. • Installation of a traffic control unit with equipment that allows the introduction of multiple programs or the possibility of adding new equipment or equipment with different characteristics (inductive loops, etc.). • Installation of new traffic signal poles and some poles with brackets. Simple poles and bracket poles are planned to be mounted on the main road to double the vehicle signals, thus increasing their visibility to a minimum of 50.00m (according to STAS 1848). • The intersections will be connected to the local electricity supply network. The proposed smart pedestrian crossings for inclusion in the Traffic Management and Video Surveillance System are as follows: • Smart crossing: Kossuth Lajos Street - Csodavilág Kindergarten; • Smart crossing: Kossuth Lajos Street - Vaskertes School; • Smart crossing: Lacul Rosu Street - Salamon Erno College; • Smart crossing: Lacul Rosu Street - Fogarassy Mihaly School; • Smart crossing: Lacul Rosu Street - Children's Palace. Video surveillance CCTV and FO In the project, the installation of surveillance cameras is planned. The subsystem will receive and display images from the video cameras installed in the project. Outdoor IP surveillance cameras and data transmission equipment will be used.
