Standardization and further development of eIDs and eMRTDs

In the present proceedings, support services for the tasks incumbent on the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in connection with the eIDAS Regulation on Electronic Identification and Trust Services are put out to tender.

In particular, the following services are expected:

- Development and maintenance of technical specifications, requirements and procedures related to "sovereign documents", "electronic identities", "EU Digital Identity Wallet", "Digital Travel Credential" and "Machine Readable Travel Documents".

- Support of European and international activities with regard to the creation and implementation of specifications, as well as the standardization of "sovereign documents", "electronic identities", "EU Digital Identity Wallet", "Digital Travel Credential" and "Machine Readable Travel Documents".

Up to a maximum value of EUR 1,250,000 (net) can be drawn from the framework agreement.
