HUS Group requests bids for a real-time PCR device.

The procurement involves two (2) real-time PCR, that is, polymerase chain reaction devices. The devices will be used by the HUS Diagnostic Center (Topeliuksenkatu 32, 00290 Helsinki), one for the virology and immunology responsibility unit (area 1 virology) and the other for the bacteriology responsibility unit (area 2 bacteriology).

The real-time PCR device is a laboratory device that enables real-time amplification and quantification of DNA.

Based on the competition, one (1) supplier will be selected per area.

The subject of the procurement includes the installation and putting the PCR devices into complete operational condition as well as organizing usage training for the Client's personnel. Additionally, the procurement subject includes Finnish language maintenance and support services for the devices. A minimum warranty of 24 months must be granted for real-time PCR devices.

The subject of the procurement is described in more detail below in the tender request and its attachments.

The devices will be procured in a one-time payment.

The Client reserves the option to purchase one (1) device per area during the years 2026-2028. The Client will decide separately on the use of the option.

The contracting unit reserves the right to perform a preliminary comparison of offers based on the winning bidder's product trial per area before signing the procurement decision. The trial is described in more detail in the criteria for the subject of the procurement, Trial use, in the tender request.

The Client reserves the option to conclude a maintenance contract with the supplier for the maintenance service, maintenance contract level 3, attached to the tender request. The maintenance service for the devices and the related maintenance contract will be signed after the warranty period (24 months). The maintenance contract is valid for one year at a time after signing.

If the bidder offers device-specific supplies that cannot be replaced with those from other manufacturers, a supply contract for device-specific supplies will be concluded with the supplier selected for the area, attached to the tender request.
