The object of this contract is technical assistance services to support and maintain the design of actions that drive Spanish cities towards climate neutrality and greater resilience of their territories.
These actions will contribute to enhancing biodiversity and green infrastructure in urban areas and will promote a clean and equitable energy transition, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, and sustainable urban mobility, as established in the objectives of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

LOT-0001
Procurement of services to promote innovation and multi-actor collaboration actions at the national level that enable Spanish cities to work towards their ambition of being climate-neutral. .
The object of LOT 1 is to develop innovation and multi-actor collaboration actions aimed at Spanish cities to support them in the transition process toward climate neutrality, in coordination with EU platforms and the Mission itself, to ensure connection with pioneering European cities through the NetZeroCities program and facilitate synergies with other initiatives already underway in this area. In this way, compliance with the European Commission's requirement for member states to promote these national platforms is met, within which climate contracts are promoted to develop plans for the city to achieve climate neutrality by 2030, developing lines of action and transformative projects.

Procurement of services for the development of strategies and projects aimed at adaptation and resilience to climate change of cities and/or regions. .
The object of LOT 2 is to promote strategies and projects that contribute to identifying climate risks, advising on the path to climate resilience of cities, as well as establishing synergies with urban renaturalization initiatives and improving green infrastructure, integrating the actions of the Adaptation Mission into the cities.
