The purchased devices must be suitable for
1) On-line adaptive image-guided radiotherapy
2) Precise treatment of large (28 × 28 cm2) as well as small (2 × 2 cm2) radiation treatment areas.

Surface detection system.
The subject of the procurement is a new optical surface detection system in accordance with the options presented in the request for proposals (option 1 and 2). The equipment must be compatible with the CBCT-based online adaptive linear accelerator to be acquired for KYS's Radiotherapy Unit in 2025 (and as an option in 2026). Separate bids are requested for traditional C-arm and closed-gantry linear accelerators.

Option 1:
A surface detection system will be purchased for treatment room 2 (room 3.015A) to replace the currently existing system (C-RAD, Catalyst). Additionally, if necessary, the systems of two other treatment rooms (3.016A and 3.017A; Elekta Infinity) and the CT imaging room (room 3.040; Siemens Somaton Definition) will be replaced, so that the provided equipment constitutes a unified system for the entire unit.

Option 2:
A surface detection system will be purchased for treatment room 2 (room 3.015A) and 3 (room 3.016A) to replace the currently existing systems (C-RAD, Catalyst). Additionally, if necessary, the system of one other treatment room (3.017A; Elekta Infinity) and the CT imaging room (room 3.040; Siemens Somaton Definition) will be replaced, so that the provided equipment constitutes a unified system for the entire unit.

The client is not committed to purchasing the surface detection system in 2025; its acquisition is conditional and depends on the available budget.
