The purpose of this documentation is to establish a 'Photovoltaic Park and connection to the Electricity System of Nehoiu City' to replace electricity produced in conventional installations with electricity generated from renewable sources, including the establishment of connection works. The investment is made for the implementation of the project with the same title, funded under the Modernization Fund of Romania, based on the financing contract no. 1403/09.12.2025.
It is proposed to establish a photovoltaic park with a maximum capacity of 0.4 MW and a LES 20 kW connection, according to ATR no. 3030250402564/29.05.2025.
The pursued objectives are:
- harnessing the energy potential of solar radiation by converting it into electricity, the consequences of this process being beneficial to the environment. This process involves replacing electricity produced in thermal energy installations with electricity generated from renewable sources.
- increasing the efficiency of electricity consumption at the level of public interest consumers managed by the contracting authority;
- reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the use of renewable energy sources;
- lowering electricity costs necessary for the operation of the public sector and community services.
