The Versorgungsbetriebe Bordesholm GmbH intends to award services for the construction and later (optional) maintenance of a battery storage system through a negotiated procedure with participation competition. The award will be in 4 lots. The subject of this tender for Lot 4 is on-site works & facilities for the battery storage system in close proximity to the PV open space park "Eiderstede" with an installed capacity of 14.236 kWp. The scope of supply and services essentially includes the execution of - civil engineering works, - site enclosure, - grounding and lightning protection system, - fire water cushion, - all strip foundations and paths, - crane landing area, - video surveillance system, - yard lighting, and - all cable supply and laying works on the battery park site and also outside the battery park site for the cable connection to the public grid. The battery storage is to optimize the marketing of electricity from the PV open space system and to operate in remaining free-running times in the cross-market across various markets (e.g., in the winter months and during night hours). The battery storage is to be equipped with 3 line-ups, each with 2-3 pieces of 20-foot containers with approximately 5 MWh battery capacity each and a minimum power requirement of 2.3 MVA per container. The exact number of containers per line-up (2 or 3 pieces) is based on the most economical offer for Lot 1. The battery storage will be created at the already existing grid connection cable of the PV open space park. The maximum permissible power at the grid connection point is 12.3 MW. This maximum permissible power at the grid connection point must not be exceeded. This will be ensured in operation by jointly marketing and controlling the new battery storage with an already existing battery storage at the Versorgungsbetriebe (currently about: 15 MW & 14.2 MWh). The measurement from the PV open space plant "Eiderstede" and the transfer to the upstream grid operator SH Netz AG will also be included in this control and marketing.
