The primary mission of Helsinki Region Urban Transport Ltd (hereinafter Urban Transport or KLOY) is to produce and develop sustainable mobility services and infrastructure in the Helsinki metropolitan area in a high-quality and cost-effective manner.
Helsinki Region Urban Transport Ltd is preparing to procure software necessary for safe and efficient track capacity management. The software supports the management of traffic and work performed on the tracks, promoting situational awareness as well as more systematic coordination of track work.
The software must enable the notification of construction and maintenance work on the metro line and in its vicinity, application for work permits, processing of applications, scheduling of track reservations and determining locations, management of track work capacity, as well as the granting of track work permits and transmitting those permits to track work teams. More detailed information about the subject of the procurement is described in the annex attached to the procurement subject.
Before the actual competition is held, we want to hear what kind of solutions market players have to offer for the procurement unit's needs. The aim of the market dialogue is to hear suppliers’ views on the implementation of the software and the preparation of the competition. The goal is to acquire software suitable for KLOY's needs and establish a long-term partnership with the selected supplier.
The market dialogues will be conducted via Teams initially during August-September 2025. The procurement unit may request additional information from participants if deemed necessary. The course of the market dialogue will be adjusted as needed.
