Acquisition and delivery of an adiabatic demagnetization refrigerator on behalf of the Kastler laboratory

This purchase is being made in the context of the deployment of an experimental platform for the study of QED by
the bias of the interaction of antiprotons and neutral gas atoms and the detection of X-rays emitted by
antiproton atoms. The cryostat will be used for the X-ray detector.
The acquisition of this equipment is mainly carried out within the framework of the PAX project.
The equipment, the cryostat, will be fully optimized and dedicated to the search for X-rays and optimized by its size.
This equipment will be installed and adapted within NIST (Colorado). Then moved to several locations around the world.
