The Danish Road Directorate has strategically assessed that the service is best procured on market terms rather than hiring employees, as the task requires specialist skills or specific professional competencies that are not present in the Road Directorate. Furthermore, the service requires drones or aircraft depending on the size of the project areas.

The Danish Road Directorate anticipates that there will be a greater need for services in the future and that they will need to be performed with a higher frequency, and in the near future we face several larger projects being initiated. Establishing a framework agreement that covers the services is considered necessary.

The services covered by the framework agreement consist of 3 sub-agreements with services within:

1. Repeated orthoimages of the Danish Road Directorate’s projects during the construction phase, including various supplementary services

2. Point clouds captured with LIDAR including simultaneous orthoimages.

3. High-resolution orthoimages. including various supplementary services
