The Regional Transport Bern-Solothurn AG (RBS) and the Bus Operations Solothurn Grenchen and Surroundings AG (BSGU) intend to replace part of their diesel bus fleet with electric buses. The commissioning of the new vehicles also requires the necessary charging infrastructure. Charging infrastructure refers to the operational charging device (rectifier), the power supply line to the charging point, and the charging point, which establishes the connection to the vehicle. The energy transfer between the charging point and the vehicle takes place via a pantograph (top-down pantograph). The BSGU leads this tender. The tender community is calling for the purchase of the charging infrastructure for a total of 44 charging points. An additional 66 charging points are being offered as options (redeemable until 31.12.2032). Additionally, the option of a maintenance contract for the fixed ordered and optionally orderable charging infrastructure is to be offered.
