Integration of AI Infrastructure in the Leando Portal: Development, Implementation, Testing and Transition to Operational Use of a Generative AI Chatbot.
To provide users of Leando with effective, practice-oriented, and individualized support, Leando is to be further developed in an agile manner regarding an AI infrastructure.
Instead of a purely machine learning-based system that only provides recommendations, this tender seeks the integration of a generative AI chatbot into the technological infrastructure of Leando. This goes beyond a mere search function and acts – with the help of an interchangeable Large Language Model (LLM) and a Retrieval-Augmented Generation system (RAG) – as a digital assistant for users. It can directly access all relevant documents and content, meaningfully combine them, and generate personalized responses or even completely new didactic materials in natural language. Furthermore, ensuring data protection, IT security, interoperability, and sustainability of the solution in accordance with BIBB requirements must be adhered to.
