The subject of the contract is a brand new module for super-resolution imaging based on the stimulated emission depletion method, which is an element of the research system based on ultra-fast, super-resolution, and high-throughput confocal laser scanning microscopy. The device enables imaging at super-resolution (i.e., resolution better than that determined by the diffraction limit of light) of preserved and live biological samples. It is equipped with a confocal scanner, highly sensitive detectors, an array detector consisting of multiple point detectors, and a module for time-resolved measurements. The device must provide imaging at a resolution better than that determined by the diffraction limit of light at least by using: - Deconvolution methods of obtained images available in the offered software; - An optical technique of fluorescence depletion at the edges of the excited area (STimulated Emission Depletion (STED)) allowing to improve the resolution at least in the xy plane. As part of the execution of the contract, the contractor is obliged to fulfill all obligations resulting from the description of the subject of the contract, in particular: - delivering, unloading, and bringing the equipment along with its accessories to the installation site at the contracting authority's premises, - its installation and commissioning, - training for the contracting authority's employees on the operation, calibration, and servicing of the device, conducted at the contracting authority's premises by the manufacturer's application specialist, - warranty service.
