A Framework is being established for sustainable Estates Professional Services across the HE and public sector, consisting of 8 Lots that include various specialized roles such as Project Manager, Lead Contractor, Quantity Surveyor, Structural Engineering, MEP Services, Planning Consultant, Architectural Design, and Fire Safety Advisor.
To instigate a Framework of supply for the HE and wider public sector for sustainable Estates Professional Services. The procurement process is set to establish a Framework of 8 Lots. Each Lot will consist of a maximum of 8 suppliers who can demonstrate a robust approach to the services required. The Services will be availble for UKUPC members. Evidence and demonstratable experience will need to be shown to achive a place on the Framework as per the award criteria in the documentation.
Lot 2 - Project Management
To appoint a Project Manager to oversee and deliver estates construction projects ensuring successful completion of said projects within scope, time, and budget.
Lot 1 - Lead Contractor
To appoint a Lead Contractor to provide comprehensive estates/construction professional services, ensuring efficient management of the required services.
Lot 3 - Quantity Surveyor
To appoint a Quantity Surveyor to provide expert cost management and financial advice for estates projects, ensuring value for money and financial efficiency.
Lot 4 - Structural Engineering Services
To appoint Structural Engineering Services to provide expert analysis, design, and oversight for structural aspects of estates projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance.
Lot 5 - MEP
To appoint MEP Engineering Services to provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, ensuring efficient and sustainable building operations.
Lot 6 - Planning Consultant Services
To appoint Planning Consultant Services to provide expert advice and support for the planning and development of estates projects, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
Lot 7 - Architectural Design Services
To appoint Architectural Design Services to provide innovative and sustainable architectural services, ensuring the aesthetic, sustainable and functional excellence of projects.
Lot 8 - Fire Safety Advisor
Provide competent advice and assurance to the Member and its duty holders on compliance with UK fire safety law; lead/oversee suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment and the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of fire precautions; coordinate with enforcing authorities and, where applicable, with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) Accountable Persons.
