The execution of the services subject to the contract aims to provide infrastructures for charging electric vehicles in the vicinity of the Hoces de Segovia. Currently, there is a tourist influx in this area dominated by polluting vehicles (cars, buses, etc.). What is now intended is to have the aforementioned charging infrastructure distributed throughout the environment to facilitate the influx of electric vehicles in an efficient, safe, and comfortable manner. The goal is to enhance the relative attractiveness of this area compared to other destinations for the increasingly numerous users of electric vehicles, encourage longer stays, and reduce emissions from tourism-related travel. Furthermore, to complement Actions 1 and 2 of the PSTD in which this action is framed, charging and parking stations for electric bicycles will be installed in municipalities near the routes taken by cycle paths, promoting the use of this sustainable mode of transport between municipalities and providing the area with an extra appeal for users of this way of tourism.
