We request candidates to submit participation applications and preliminary offers for the procurement process of remote read water meters and check valves.

The procurement concerns the Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority - municipal federation (HSY) for the procurement of remote read water meters and check valves for the years 2026 - 2029.

The transition to remote reading of water meters at HSY means the gradual commissioning of up to 100,000 remote read water meters. This procurement prepares for the first 1 to 3 years of HSY's remote reading project, during which approximately 40,000 remote read water meters will be put into use from 2026 to 2029, of which about half will operate in a commercial LoRaWAN network by a third party and correspondingly about half in a commercial NB-IoT network by a third party.

The procurement is for remote read water meters in sizes DN20-DN200 and check valves suitable for remote read water meters in sizes DN20-DN40. In addition, external antennas for remote read water meters are optional.
