The subject of the tender is the supply of electricity including grid use for the shore power plant of ROSTOCK PORT GmbH in the delivery period 01/2024 to 12/2024 with a total annual demand of approx. 2.5 million kWh/a. The contractual relationship shall be automatically extended by a further year until 31.12.2028, unless it is terminated by one of the contracting parties with a notice period of 3 months to the end of the respective calendar year. The amount of electricity is a non-binding estimate, as the binding purchase of shore power from seagoing vessels has not yet been determined.
The shore power system is classified as a final consumer, but supplies the purchased electricity to seagoing vessels of third parties.
For 2024, 75 cruise ships are expected to call at shore power.
