MOEP WORLD BANK FINANCED PROJECTS
- The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Energy Projects and intends to apply part of the proceeds for procurement of Individual Consultants Services to support Ministry of Energy and Petroleum (MOEP) for the World Bank Financed projects.
- The consulting services (“Services”) include Project Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, Project Accountant and Geographic Information System (GIS) Expert (individual consultants). The assignment is expected to be completed within thirty-six (36) calendar months from the date of contract commencement. The Government of Kenya (GoK), through the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum seeks the services of the Consultants to undertake the tasks listed in the terms of reference.

- The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services (Cover/ application letter summarizing the relevant experience, detailed curriculum vitae (CV), copies of documentary evidence of academic qualifications, experience, professional qualifications, and registration/licensing with professional bodies (as applicable).
- The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.13, 3.15, and 3.16 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” First Published July 2016 and the Revised Sixth Edition February, 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
- The Consultants will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the World Bank “Procurement Regulations”.
- Further information can be obtained at the address below from 0900 to 1700 hours East African Time (EAT) from Monday to Friday.
- Expressions of Interest (REOI) must be delivered in a written form to the address below in person, or by mail, or email by 27th August, at 12.00 noon East African Time. The REOIs will be closed/opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the candidates or their representatives
