The object of the contract includes:
- the supply of a usage license, as well as consulting services, deployment, commissioning and integration of the proposed solution with the information systems of SERIS (SIL, RIS/PACKS, Selene…), for a solution that allows the implementation of a methodology based on digital imaging for the diagnosis of laboratory tests generated in the Pathological Anatomy Service of SERIS.
- the supply of all necessary physical and logical equipment for a complete replacement of the current methodology based on conventional microscopy with a methodology based on digital microscopy in the study of all samples processed daily in both services: 3 bright field scanners and technological solution for the realization of IFD and FISH; as well as the necessary equipment to enable 20 workstations and the local image storage servers required (80 Tb).
- the supply for unlimited use during the execution of the contract, the required warranty period of 24 months and any possible extensions of warranty offered by the contractor, of the artificial intelligence algorithms to support the diagnosis of:
- The breast cancer panel, which will include validated algorithms for, at least, the semi-quantitative detection of the expression of estrogen receptors (ER) and progesterone (PR), as well as for the expression of the HER2 protein (c-erbB2/HER2).
- An algorithm for the semi-quantitative detection of the expression of the Ki-67 protein in sections of breast tissue and in tissues of other types of tumors.
- The lung cancer panel will include the quantitative algorithm for the expression of the PD-L1 protein for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, including PD-L1 SP263 (PD-L1).
- the maintenance, support and evolution of the solution and all supplied equipment, throughout the life of the contract, the warranty (24 months) and the possible warranty extensions offered by the contractor.
The contract is framed within the Type Project PT3 of the Personalized Digital Care Plan: “Testing generation of information in tools and/or utilities that, based on data obtained from patients, help professionals to diagnose and observe patients.” (Component 11 of the PRTR, Investment 3.- Personalized Digital Care Plan.-PT3).
