The Öffis Public Transport Hameln-Pyrmont GmbH intends to expand its operating facility at the location Hameln-Afferde (Hastenbecker Weg 92) to implement a forward-looking e-mobility strategy. The goal is to gradually transition the entire bus fleet of currently 70 vehicles with combustion engines to electric drive by the year 2035. To this end, a comprehensive e-charging infrastructure is to be created and the workshop area accordingly adapted and expanded. Based on a council decision from 2023, the transition to e-buses is to begin in 2026. The first expansion phase includes the establishment of eight charging points for six e-buses. A total of 70 charging points are to be realized by 2035. The construction measures serve to ensure sustainable and economically viable infrastructure development. The project includes the following construction and infrastructure measures: - Optional: Extension of the office wing (Axes A-E): Expansion of the single-storey building part through a wooden frame construction with approximately 700 m² of gross floor area (BFG). - Renovation of existing workshop (Axes K-L): Installation of a stationary working platform for the maintenance of e-buses, taking into account static requirements. - New construction of the electrical workshop (Axes K-L): Erection of a new hall with approximately 600 m² BGF for the maintenance and servicing of electric vehicles. - New cover for bus parking spaces (Axes L-O): Open roof structure for 15 bus parking spaces with lateral storage area. Demolition of the existing parking hall from the 1950s is required. - New e-charging stations (Parcel 44/91): Construction of 16 covered e-charging stations with steel construction and fire wall. - Workshop area for e-mobility: Extension by two repair lanes with approximately 6.0 m clear room height, as well as ancillary rooms and storage areas. The operating area is located in a commercially used area on B1. There is no development plan available. There are no planning law concerns from the city of Hameln. Access is via Hastenbecker Weg. Building on the existing preliminary planning (LP 2), the further service phases are to be provided. The structural design takes into account the existing building structure and recommends wooden frame construction for the extension. The technical building equipment (heating, plumbing, and electrical) will be integrated according to the preliminary planning of the specialized planners. The sound insulation requirements will be considered through a commissioned report. A thermal protection proof according to GEG is not yet available but will be created in the next service phase. The foundation will be carried out taking into account the existing soil reports (2016, 2019). A bomb disposal service is planned during earthworks. The cost estimate (KG 200 - 500) amounts to approximately gross 10.0 million EUR.
