The subject of the procurement is the services of professional supervision over the design and execution of works within the Project for the construction of two shore side power supply systems (OPS) for ships at the Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT) and the Rijeka Gateway Container Terminal (RGWCT) (hereinafter: the "Project"). The Project is being carried out to meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/1804 on the infrastructure for alternative fuels.

The Project includes the preparation of project documentation, obtaining necessary permits, procurement and installation of OPS equipment, and putting the system into operation, with the works being executed based on a single design and construction contract. The expected outcome is to ensure the use of the OPS systems at both terminals, with capacities of two supply points of 3.75 MW or one of 7.5 MW at each terminal.

Within this procurement process, the selected bidder will be obliged to provide the following services:

• Roles and responsibilities of the Engineer in accordance with FIDIC Contract Conditions for Design and Build (Yellow Book, 1999, with Special Conditions for the Project);
• Control of the Contractor's design to ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards (including IEC/IEEE 80005), professional rules, and Client requirements;
• Professional supervision of construction in accordance with the Construction Act and all applicable regulations;
• Services of the Health and Safety Coordinator during design and construction according to the Occupational Safety Act ("Narodne novine" no. 71/14., 118/14., 154/14., 94/18., 96/18.) and the Regulation on Occupational Safety at Temporary Construction Sites ("Narodne novine" no. 48/18.);
• Execution of all additional obligations listed in the Scope of Work and procurement documentation.
