I. Subject of the basic order As part of the task, it is planned to develop design documentation for a photovoltaic farm along with energy storage on a plot of land located in areas belonging to the city of Katowice. The installation of the renewable energy farm will reduce emissions of harmful compounds and substances into the atmosphere, which will lead to better air quality. The subject of the investment task is to design, obtain all necessary permits and decisions for two photovoltaic installations with a capacity of 0.745 – 0.75 MWp each, along with an energy storage system with a capacity of 500kW and a capacity of 1060kWh each, located on land belonging to the municipality of Katowice, operating in a network system to the main SN switchboard section 1 and section 2 of the Katowice Gaming and Technology Hub. Address of the facility: Katowice, plot no. 4116/55 district 0008 Mysłowice Las KM 2, municipality of Katowice, Katowice district, Silesian Voivodeship. Each of the two photovoltaic installations will be built from the following components: 1. Photovoltaic modules with a total power expressed in kWp must be in the range of 745 to 750 kWp (requirements for photovoltaic modules are specified in Table 1 of the description of the subject of the order – annex no. 10 to the SWZ), 2. Photovoltaic inverters, series (requirements for inverters are specified in Table 2 of the description of the subject of the order – annex no. 10 to the SWZ), selected for the total power of photovoltaic modules based on the principles specified in the OPZ, 3. Mounting structure selected for the location (according to the information contained in Table 3 of the description of the subject of the order – annex no. 10 to the SWZ), 4. Grounded equalizing connections system made according to the requirements specified in the OPZ, 5. Monitoring system made according to the requirements specified in the OPZ, 6. Surge protection made on the principles specified in the OPZ, 7. Transformer station, 8. DC and AC cabling, 9. SN cable lines to the main SN switchboard of the Katowice Gaming and Technology Hub, 10. Modernization (expansion) of the SN switchboard for the purpose of connecting the planned installations, 11. Energy storage with a capacity of 500kW/1060kWh. The photovoltaic power plants will have common accompanying infrastructure consisting of the following elements: • Video monitoring system made according to the requirements specified in the OPZ • Access authorization system for people entering and exiting the power plant area in accordance with the provisions in the OPZ • Fencing along with lighting infrastructure made according to the requirements specified in the OPZ • Energy management system. II. Scope covered by the right of option: The Ordering Party within the framework of this procedure anticipates the possibility of exercising the right of option. The optional scope includes performing authorial supervision over the execution of construction works necessary for the delivery and installation of the photovoltaic installation and will become effective upon submission of a declaration by the Ordering Party to exercise the right of option. Under the optional order, the Contractor should perform the services and activities indicated in § 9 of the proposed contract provisions (annex no. 7 to the SWZ). III. The detailed scope of work is specified in: 1) description of the subject of the order (OPZ) – annex no. 10 to the SWZ 2) proposed contract provisions – annex no. 7 to the SWZ. IV. Warranty period and liability for defects - The Ordering Party requires that the warranty period for the completed subject of the contract be 36 months from the date of acceptance of the completed subject of the order. In addition, the Ordering Party requires that the liability for defects period be equal to the quality assurance period.
