The aim of this procurement is to bind a service provider for three years with an optional extension of twelve months, who will ensure the secure operation, support, and further development of SAP HCM at the University Medical Center Halle (Saale) (UMH) through a service contingent. In addition to these services, the complete technical and professional migration from H4S4 (HCM for S4/HANA) on-premise should be considered optionally.
The service provider shall be commissioned to provide the following services on demand and in coordination with Business Unit II Human Resources, particularly with the department for personnel systems and processes. Special attention must be paid to the stability of SAP HCM and the assurance of payroll processing. The support of SAP HCM is divided into the areas of basic support, application support, payroll support, and further development. These four areas have separate contingents that can be utilized independently. The bidder must ensure that support for the four areas can also be implemented in H4S4. More detailed descriptions of the four areas can be found in the service description.

2 - Optimization and implementation of innovations in H4S4
The service period is divided into the following two phases:
- Service Phase: expected start of service: 16.02.2026; duration: 3 years
- Optional extension: following the service phase; duration: 1 year
The contractual basis shall be an EVB-IT service contract in connection with an order data processing agreement (AVV), based on the service description and the final offer.
The EVB-IT service contract will be the subject of negotiation talks.
