Description:
Stromnetz Berlin GmbH seeks to select qualified companies for the provision of turnkey electrical equipment and services for substations and network nodes as part of network expansion and upgrades in Berlin.

Stromnetz Berlin GmbH intends to implement various expansion and upgrading measures for the distribution network in the state of Berlin as part of the energy transition. These include the new construction, partial replacement, and upgrading of substations and network nodes against the background of network expansion or due to age- and condition-related replacement of operating materials that have reached their technical-economic service life.

The purpose of this qualification system is to select qualified and reliable companies for the award and execution of general contractor or general subcontractor services in the field of electrical construction for project-specific, turnkey, electrical equipment for substations and network nodes in the Berlin power grid.

The required service scopes include the following:

Project-specific, turnkey electrical equipment of 110/10-kV substations, particularly the construction or connection of a typically 7-field 110-kV SF6-free switchgear, considering the amendment of the F-Gas Regulation EU 2024/573 of February 7, 2024, including associated operating cabinets and field cabling, a 10-kV switchgear (2500A rated current with an average of 80 switching fields), establishment of control technology, protection technology, own consumption, auxiliary systems, and primary and secondary connection of transformers and neutral point generators

and

Project-specific, turnkey electrical equipment of 110-kV network nodes, particularly the construction or connection of a typically 23 to 31-field 110-kV SF6-free switchgear, considering the amendment of the F-Gas Regulation EU 2024/573 of February 7, 2024, including associated operating cabinets and field cabling, construction of protection technology, control technology, own consumption, and auxiliary systems, integration of the provided busbar protection, and any planned compensation coils

as well as

Project-specific, turnkey electrical upgrading of 110/10-kV substations, particularly the secondary technical upgrading of a typically 3-field 110-kV SF6 switchgear, including associated operating cabinets and field cabling, a 10-kV switchgear (2500A rated current with an average of 60 switching fields), replacement of control technology, protection technology, own consumption, auxiliary systems, and primary and secondary connection of transformers and neutral point generators.

The service scope also includes the complete manufacturing of connections for all secondary and primary interfaces in the substation or network node as well as testing, commissioning, and documentation, as well as the adaptation of protection and control technology in the respective facilities, overall project management, planning, construction, manufacturing, factory testing, system tests for station control technology, delivery, assembly, testing, commissioning, trial operation of the entire system, acceptance, and documentation.

The engineering processing of the switching technology must be performed in Engineering Base with E&A and QS modules according to the client's requirements and processes.

In addition, the contractor plans, coordinates, and creates or procures all technical facilities and software services necessary for fulfilling the order.

Client contributions:
For substations, standard client contributions typically include the 110-kV switchgear including transformers, gas monitoring, field cabling, operating cabinets, transformers, neutral point generators, and all protection relays.
For network nodes, standard client contributions typically include the 110-kV switchgear including transformers, gas monitoring, field cabling, operating cabinets, compensation coils, and busbar protection.
