The subject of the contract is the construction of a photovoltaic power source (hereinafter referred to as “PV System”) with battery storage at the EU Student House in Bratislava, Dolnozemská cesta 1, Bratislava - Petržalka. The contract will be implemented according to the project documentation and the bill of quantities. The PV System will supply the entire student house with generated electrical energy, store energy and excess power in the battery storage, and will not supply the generated power to the low-voltage distribution network. The total power of the proposed PV System is 80 kW with a maximum panel output of 98.98 kWp. The installation of PV panels is proposed on a self-supporting metal structure on the flat roof of the student house. This solution will not burden the roof covering or thermal insulation of the roof, and the roof area will remain permanently accessible for potential maintenance. Lightning protection will be newly built and connected to already established down conductors and grounding. All parts of the PV System will be protected by capture rods at a protective angle and the principle of a rolling ball. Some cross-conductors will be modified and replaced with insulated ones to meet the requirement for sufficient distance. Internal lightning protection will be supplemented with surge protectors and protective bonding. Details are described in the tender documents.
