Versorgungsbetriebe Bordesholm GmbH intends to award services for the construction and later (optional) maintenance of a battery storage system through a negotiation procedure with a competition for participation. The award will be made in 4 lots. The subject of this tendered Lot 1 is the delivery, installation, commissioning, and optional maintenance of 6 to 9 battery containers including batteries, cooling and control systems, connection options, as well as ancillary, control, switching, and measuring systems for the battery storage located in close proximity to the PV ground-mounted park "Eiderstede" with an installed capacity of 14.236 kWp. The battery storage is intended to optimize the marketing of electricity from the PV ground-mounted system and will operate in remaining free-flow periods in the cross-market across various markets (e.g., during winter months and nighttime hours). The battery storage will be equipped with 3 line-ups, each consisting of 2-3 pieces of 20-foot containers with approximately 5 MWh battery capacity each and a minimum power requirement per container of 2.3 MVA. The exact number of containers per line-up (2 or 3 units) will be determined based on the most economically advantageous offer for Lot 1. Battery cooling will, in any case, be carried out by liquid cooling. The battery storage will be connected to the existing network connection cable of the PV ground-mounted park. The maximum permissible output at the grid connection point is 12.3 MW. This maximum permissible output at the grid connection point must not be exceeded. This will be ensured in operation by marketing and controlling the new battery storage together with an existing battery storage unit already available at the Versorgungsbetriebe (currently approx.: 15 MW & 14.2 MWh). This control and marketing will also include the respective handover measurement from the PV ground-mounted facility "Eiderstede" and the handover to the upstream network operator SH Netz AG.
