The object of the contract is to provide services for the establishment of uniform scientific monitoring protocols for the different groups of species and natural habitat types and to establish permanent systematic sampling on an annual basis, with a frequency commensurate with the species, habitats and natural habitat types and threats they face.
Terrestrial, marine, and wetland habitat typesTerrestrial, marine and wetland habitat types• Establishment of a list of species/habitat types of EU and national interest (including endemic species)
• Spatial and temporal distribution (including frequency) of sampling on an annual and systematic basis with a detailed program of field work
• Creation of standard data sheets per species and/or habitat type both in scope and/or by remote sensing methods per species and/or habitat type
• Selection of logging parameters. As a minimum, the parameters necessary for the preparation of the six-year reports of the EU Nature Directives, the parameters of the statutory conservation objectives and the Standard Data Forms of Natura 2000 sites shall be recorded
• Selection and description of methodologies for measuring and analyzing data both in the field and by remote sensing methods per species and/or habitat type
• Design of raw database in GIS files
• Proposal of a methodology for ensuring the verification of reliability and validity of field data
• Proposal of a methodology for estimating the Desired Reference Values
• Recording and costing of the necessary scientific equipment with its specifications.
• Recording and costing of the necessary human resources on an annual basis (number of people, man-months, man-days, etc.)
The duration of implementation of each section is set at 6 months from the signing of the relevant Contract.
