Description:
Charging infrastructure for electric buses

Manufacture, delivery and assembly as well as permanent maintenance of a charging infrastructure for the permanent operation of electric buses with exclusively electric drive in battery operation. In a first expansion stage, a total of 17 stationary chargers with 34 charging points, CCS-Combo 2 charging plugs and with at least 150 kW output power (per charger) are to be set up for overnight charging. Furthermore, ASEAG reserves the option to procure 16 additional charging stations with 32 charging points, CCS-Combo 2 charging plugs and with at least 150 kW output power (per charging station) by the end of 2025.

The subject of the contract is the manufacture, delivery and installation of a charging infrastructure for the permanent operation of electric buses with exclusively electric drive in battery operation. In a first expansion stage, a total of 17 stationary charging stations with 34 charging points, CCS Combo 2 charging plugs and an output charging capacity of at least 150 kW each (per charging station) are to be procured. The charging stations are to be installed and erected on the company premises in the bus halls of ASEAG (Neuköllner Straße 1, 52068 Aachen). In principle, the electric buses are to be charged overnight in ASEAG's bus parking halls.

Furthermore, ASEAG reserves the option of procuring 16 additional charging stations with 32 charging points by the end of 2025. In addition, the contractor is responsible for ensuring that the charging infrastructure can also be expanded for the procurement of further electric buses after 2026 and is also fully compatible with other manufacturers of electric buses.

In addition to the charging stations, the scope of supply includes project planning, transport, delivery, assembly and commissioning of all components and cable connections, the grid connection to the existing low-voltage distribution system, the grid filtering (tailored to the infrastructure being built), the cable connections between the transfer point of the grid connection, the charging station and the vehicle, the construction for attaching the cable connections to the hall ceiling, backend system for monitoring and control of the charging processes. The communication of the backend system for monitoring and controlling the charging processes must take place via the communication protocol OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol - Minimum requirement: Version - 1.6J). The client reserves the right to demand the disclosure of the software source code of the backend system for this purpose. After commissioning of all components, the contractor shall be responsible for all components and the full functionality of the charging stations in the long term. to be delivered and installed. For this purpose, the conclusion of an availability contract for a term of 5 years is planned (with an extension option to a maximum of 12 years).
