Renovation of urban collector roads Phase I.
The main goal of the project is to implement complex road surface renovation and condition improvement works affecting several streets in the Sopron road network while maintaining traffic. The current investment requires a construction permit as detailed below. Renovation of urban collector roads Phase I Planned interventions: Renovation of the pavements of internal roads in Sopron in 23 streets, totaling 7991 m in length. During the renovation, the existing pavement will be renewed in one or two layers, with local surface settlements adjusted and sidewalk connections corrected where necessary. Damaged raised borders found on the sections will also be renovated. In several cases, the leveling of manhole and stormwater cover plates will take place. Road markings will also be painted throughout the section. The renovation works must be carried out while maintaining traffic; complete closure of the road section to traffic is not permitted during the execution period. Expansion of the Kisvárkerület traffic-calmed area.
The main goal of the project is to implement complex road surface renovation and condition improvement works affecting several streets in the Sopron road network while maintaining traffic. This investment requires a construction permit. Expansion of the traffic-calmed area of Kisvárkerület from the Hűség well to Ógabona square Planned interventions: From the total area of 8,000 m2, the executive plans for the 6,400 m2 area were completed in 2017, and in 2023, revised permit plans for the renewed Hűség Park were created. The current executive plan documentation includes the exact definition and various corrections. A few elements listed in earlier plans but not realized will be constructed in the Hűség Park area: drinking fountain, information board, street lanterns. Renovation of the section between Major street and Lackner Kristóf street, asphalt carpeting and sidewalk surface replacement while keeping the borders, area ~ 850 m2. Renovation of the pedestrian street section of Színház street, sidewalk surface replacement, similarly from wall to wall, area ~ 400 m2. Renewal of Színház square. Sidewalk surface replacement while keeping the curbs, tree planting, and transformation of green areas, area ~ 1,100 m2. The road surface of Várkerület will be renovated while maintaining the current road level, except for the pedestrian bridge that will be raised to pedestrian level. The Kisvárkerület parking lot will be completely demolished, and the sidewalks and mixed-use service surfaces will be rebuilt. New stormwater drainage main network will be constructed in front of properties no. 10 and 16 on Várkerület. A concrete sedimentation cleaning well will be installed. The drainage of the pavement will be ensured by concrete water absorbing wells. The drainage of the sidewalk surface will be ensured not only by the water absorbers but also by slot drains and long gratings. The renovation works must be carried out while maintaining traffic; complete closure of the road section to traffic is not permitted during the execution period. Renovation of Balfi road between the bypass road and Híd street.
The main goal of the project is to implement complex road surface renovation and condition improvement works affecting several streets in the Sopron road network while maintaining traffic. This investment requires a construction permit. Comprehensive renovation of Balfi road between the bypass road and Híd street Planned interventions: The length of the road to be renovated is 1018 m, with a characteristic roadway width of 8.0 m. In front of the even-numbered house row, a 934 m long, 4.25 m wide separate sidewalk and two-way bicycle path will be built. The existing sidewalk in front of the odd-numbered house row will be renovated to its current dimensions, at least 1.50 m wide, and completed where sections are missing. The planned parking lanes will provide parking spaces for a total of 124 vehicles. Three designated pedestrian crossings will be constructed - made accessible - on the planned road sections. Reconstruction of two existing bus stops will also take place. The existing stormwater channel will be renovated, and where it does not exist, a new stormwater channel will be built. The street lighting will be renovated, and trees and shrubs will be planted.
