The European Court of Auditors wishes to utilize the services of a laboratory for medical analyses for the mandatory occupational health physician analyses within the framework of the annual check-ups of its staff, as well as in connection with medical pre-employment examinations. The estimated number of tests for 4 years is provided as a guideline in the financial offer form (Form 7 – Annex 3 of the invitation to tender).
The European Court of Auditors intends to rely on the services of an analysis laboratory in the following contexts:
— medical examinations related to recruitment or occupational medicine in general (Item I);
— analyses prescribed by the European Court of Auditors’ occupational physicians within the framework of the annual check-ups of its personnel (Item II);
— collection at the European Court of Auditors of blood samples taken by it; in this case, a travel allowance applies for the type II service case (Item III) – see section 2.b), Part B of the specifications;
— in emergencies, sampling by the contractor in the buildings occupied by the Court of Auditors; in this case, a surcharge applies (Item IV) – see section 4, Part B of the specifications.
